I’m Talitha – the voice behind FINDING THE FIRE.

Life moves fast, and it’s easy to forget the small moments that shape us – the lessons, growth, and quiet changes behind the scenes. I want to pay attention to what God is doing and sometimes slow down and properly reflect and document.

And instead of keeping that journey to myself, I chose to write it down and take pictures of those moments.

I so easily lose joy because of getting caught up in comparison or fear, and this blog has helped me to stay focused on being faithful with what is currently in my hand and living for an audience of One. It’s such a joy to do, and I pray that it will be a life-giving source of encouragement both for me and others.

How we express ourselves, what we allow to shape our thoughts and emotions, how we learn disciplines to show up for ourselves and others daily – it builds character in us. Character is what God is interested in and looking for in us. Learning to live intentionally, staying curious and paying attention to unseen areas of our lives are such key parts of letting our faith be the thing that guides our lives.

I’m excited to see where this goes.
